Finding email marketing answers can be difficult. Quite often there’s not enough time to trawl through the internet to find what you’re looking for. To help, we’ve collated some key questions we get all the time about using NewZapp.

 

Do I get full support with my NewZapp account?

Yes, we offer both phone and email support with our package deals. We offer so much more than “turn it off and back on” support.

Where are you based?

The most frequently asked question! Our offices and servers are based here in the UK. We do not store any of your data outside of the EU.

NewZapp is UK Data Protection registered and our servers are housed in a location with state of the art security systems and protection. You’re data is held safely and legally at all times with NewZapp.

Why does this matter? If you use a provider outside the European Union, you’ll need to see how they are overcoming the Safe Harbour ruling.

Does NewZapp allow bought-in data?

Short answer, yes. As long as you’ve purchased an opted-in database from a reputable data provider and can prove it.

However, the best results do come from organic lists obtained through networking, website signups, purchases etc.

Long answer, purchasing data is a way of reaching out to a wider audience but make sure it’s targeted. Avoid the list with a million “decision makers” for £100. Go for a list of targeted sectors, regions and industries, yes the list will be smaller, but it will be a damn sight better.

Can I upload my own HTML template?

If you have your own HTML template that you’d like to use within NewZapp, you will have option to simply drag and drop your files within the Create & Send area.

Alternatively, we have our own in-house design team who can create you a bespoke mobile responsive template that you can use again and again.

How often should I send to my list of contacts?

This really does depend on a number of factors for example, what industry you’re in, what the message is and whether you’ll be able to cope with the all responses back.

Emailing too often will see a significant drop in your subscribers as people will start getting annoyed with receiving your emails all the time.

In my experience, you get the best results when you email your list every 2-4 weeks – it’s not too often and there’s not too big of a gap for your subscribers to forget you.
