Devon County Council with their 2nd CIPR award using newzapp

Devon County Council have won the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) award for the 2nd year running using newzapp email marketing software.

Intouch e-magazine won the best e-newsletters and magazines category at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations national Excellence Awards.  Intouch keeps Parish Councils, MPs and other interested groups across Devon informed of Council-related news, prompting very useful two-way communications with the Council.

Devon County Council had previously won this prestigious award for their Insider e-magazine in 2007 and have continued to use the newzapp email marketing system to bring them their award winning success.

Leader of Devon County Council, Cllr Brian Greenslade said, "Parish councils are a key partner to the council as they represent their local communities - so a fast, flexible and cost-effective method for two-way communication is vital. We are delighted that the CIPR has recognised our efforts through this award."
