Ronan Keating to play at Epsom Downs after racing tonight!
As many Epsom regulars may be aware, we made the decision to cancel our Epsom Live! night on Thursday, 7 July after the terrorist attacks in London.
The horrific events made it completely inappropriate to stage racing and a pop concert here at Epsom Downs Racecourse.
We are delighted to announce that Ronan Keating has kindly rearranged his schedule and will now appear at Epsom Downs TONIGHT (Wednesday 17th August) after the evening race meeting. Tickets are still only £19 for the Grandstand and £23 for the Queens Stand, with accompanied children's tickets available at £5 each (ages 5 – 16).
Come and enjoy a beautiful summer evening with racing and Ronan at Epsom! Tickets are still available, either buy on the gate or book on 01372 47 00 47.
New Grandstand Plans announced
Epsom Downs announced plans for a new £23.5 million Grandstand last week. The proposed Grandstand will massively improve facilities for racegoers, replacing the current Grandstand which needs major upgrades and financial investment to meet current Health and Safety regulations. The proposed new Grandstand will sit alongside the Queen's Stand and will include a purpose built entrance building. Outside of the racing season it will also be versatile for non-racing events - such as conferences, banquets, concerts and weddings.
We are inviting everyone interested in the new Grandstand proposals – especially local residents, racegoers, users of the racecourse's conference facilities and users of The Downs – to have a say on the creation of a world-class sporting venue for Epsom.

The building is proposed to start in the Autumn of 2006 to Spring 2009, The Derby Festival will not be disrupted and will remain at Epsom. |
