New Team Dedicated to House Building
With more and more interest in underfloor heating and renewable energy from house builders and developers,
we've strengthened our team dedicated to the sector.

Karen Mitchell will be heading up our new House Building Team, working exclusively with the professional house building sector, providing personal contact, on-site advice and helping with promotion and sales.
As Karen comments; "we've seen incredible growth in underfloor heating and now renewable energy in the house building sector, with developers switching from traditional wet radiator systems to underfloor heating. With the need to save energy and reduce carbon footprint through new Building Regulations, there's also lots of interest in combining underfloor heating with renewable energy, especially heat pumps."
She continues; "the real advocates are our existing clients, house builders that have already started using Encompas and won't go back to traditional systems. I lead a team, working alongside house builders, installing under floor heating and heat pumps - helping them save time, money and improving return on investment."

Floor Structures - Key to Integration of Underfloor Heating
"We've so many options for ground floor and upper floor constructions that integrate underfloor heating" says; John Trenell.
"My job is to make sure that Encompas systems integrate seamlessly with the construction schedule and budget of our clients; John continues. "We know how important it is to stay on time and on budget. More and more house builders are using underfloor heating, not just on the ground floor, but in first floors of traditional houses as well as apartments and conversions. We're also responding to an increased demand for renewable energy solutions and integrated control systems."
Government Demands 25% Carbon Improvement by 2010
The consultation published in December 2006 by the Department for Communities and Local Government means that house builders will have to provide a 25% improvement on Part L Building Regulations in the next three years, rising to 44% by 2013 and become carbon neutral by 2016. The report states that the 2010 target is achievable through improved insulation and efficiency of heating this means underfloor heating and better control systems and we're the experts.
