On Friday 16th, (9am to 12pm at the Watershed) in collaboration with the University of Bath and the National Microelectronics Institute we are discussing Moore's Law 40 years on and what are the next waves of innovation that will drive further business growth in this sector. Later in September, during the evening of the 27th, BEN is hosting an event on "Financing the equity gap". With contributors from entrepreneurs, investors, business angel networks and policy makers this promises to be an excellent opportunity for growth orientated SMEs to learn more about sources of finance, new opportunities for accessing it and how best to go about it. We are delighted that both Business West and Knowledge West will be co-sponsoring this event and, along with the University of the West of England, will be co-sponsoring a number of BEN events throughout the autumn and then into 2006. Also on 13th October will be "the Economics and Politics of Renewable Energy" Discover the opportunities, for entrepreneurs and investors, for business success in one of the fastest growing new sectors in the UK.
